 T2 Texting , T2 is very pleased to announce its new partnership with the Livingston County American Red Cross, in Howell Michigan. T2 a mobile communications company, located in Brighton, Michigan is providing the Chapter with the ability to communicate key information to staff and volunteers via SMS text messaging. Kevin Johnston one of T2’s Managing Partners, is proud to be able to provide a solution to the American Red Cross that gives them the immediate ability to respond to a crisis. “Text Messaging is an instant, secure and reliable communication medium that can be deployed anywhere the user has an internet connection.” Working with the American Red Cross has been a tremendous experience for our company.” Historically, the ARC of Livingston County has relied on a “telephone tree” concept when there is a need to mobilize the Disaster Action Teams throughout the state and country. Now with SMS capability at their finger tips they can communicate quickly with their stakeholders to ensure an immediate response to an emergency situation.
